A well-renowned circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, provides a tough but enjoyable challenge for F1 drivers. The circuit is on of few in the world that is a figure of eight, with an overpass used to connect the track. Owned by Honda, the track is used by the Japanese car company for testing as it provides a thorough test for all cars. The track has become famous over the years for the F1 title battles that have culminated at the Japanese Grand Prix, with Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna’s rivalry reaching boiling point at in 1989. The Japanese Grand Prix was due to alternate at Fuji Speedway in the coming years, but has become the sole Japanese F1 circuit once more.
