Monza has hosted all but one of the Italian Grand Prix over the years and is well-renowned on the Formula 1 calendar. The circuit is one of the most historic motor racing tracks worldwide and is the third oldest propose-built track behind Brooklands and Indianapolis. The track is unique as the high-speed circuit is the quickest in F1, with long straights and tight corners making it tough on the cars. Every year thousands of fans descend on the woodland setting to watch Formula 1 as speeds of up to 215mph are reached. The ‘Pista Magica’ is the spiritual home of Ferrari and Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso can expect to receive plenty of passionate support this year.
