My tip to be world Champion is Mr F.Alonso driving one of those pretty red italian cars.

I'm kinda hoping the ferrari's aren't going to be as dominant as they've looked in pre-season testing. Alonso's a great driver but can be a bit psychologically flawed when he's put under pessure by team mates (Lewis '07 & Fisi occasionally at renault) but wether Massa has recovered fully is anyone's guess.
Lewis will be very fast but the cars will handle so differently this year under a full race distance fuel load i'm wondering if that will affect him in some way. That might play into Jenson's smoother driving style hands.
Gawd knows what's going to happen at Mercedes. I don't doubt Schumi's fitness, he's way to professional to let something like that stop him. If he can come back and challenge for the championship it will be one of the most remarkable things ever seen in sport. But don't doubt Rosberg's speed, he's a determined guy who has talent in abundance. He needs to stop making silly little mistakes though.
Vettel is fast, tough & one of the best out there, the complete package. Let's hope he gets a car that matches his talent. He won't be far away.
I'm generally useless at predictions but for what it's worth i'll go for:
1. Lewis
2. Vettel
3. AlonsoPosted 2 years ago # -
I sincerely hope we have another British World Champion, but I can't see it. I think we could feasibly have up to eight different GP winners this season, but I can see Ferrari picking up more than the rest. Fernando Alonso is the favourite, but I'm tipping Massa to bounce back from his injury in style.

I think Red Bull are going to give a good account of thereselves again this year, but really hope Lewis and Jenson can get a 1-2.

[/b]This season will be very tight. With the likes of Schumi, Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Button, Webber and Vettel likely to be in the thick of the Championship action, it promises to be a cracking season.
Potentially for me there could be one or two shocks this season. My 3 dark horses for this season: Lotus, Sauber and Force India. The experience of both Trulli and Kovalainen at Lotus could prove to be valuable. Trulli has bags of experience and we all know what he is capable of.
Kamui Kobayashi came out of nowhere in the race at Abu Dhabi last year and put in a stunning performance. If he continues to perform like that this season, then Formula 1 will have unearthed another gem.
Then finally there is Force India. Last season was a huge boost for the team and they finally secured their first ever points in Formula 1. The car has been very quick in pre-season testing and if it carries on like that, then we could be seeing the Force India car in the Top 10 quite regularly.
I think it is too early to say who will be World Champion but I'm sure when we get to the halfway stage, we will have a clear picture as to who is in the running! Cannot wait for Bahrain.

The obvious tip for this season has to be the scarlet Ferrari of Felipe Massa. His pre season testing has been phenomenal, and his pair of World Championship trophies are a reminder of what he's capable of.
However, with the new regulations this season, the hype surrounding Schumi's return, as well as the all British McLaren team, the real winners this season are going to be the fans.
With a wealth of new teams entering the sport, representing the past and future of F1 racing, there's set to be an aspect for all generations to feast their eyes on the grid in Bahrain come Sunday.
Title tip: Alonso
Constructor: McLaren
Newcomer of the year: Nico Hulkenberg (depending on how the car is)Posted 2 years ago # -
It is impossible to say who will win the Drivers' and constructors Championships this season but we can speculate at least.
Ferrari are the favourites due to their impressive pre-season form but Fernando Alonso likes making enemies so I think he will have a few run-in's with Massa this season. Also I can't see him fitting into the Ferrari family.
I think the same will happen at McLaren. I don't buy any of this frienship cobblers for a minute.Button and Hamilton are bound to fall out when Hamilton doesn't get his own way or Button complains about the car's setup favouring Hamilton.
I believe Red Bull will be the winners come the end of the season. They finished last season like a house on fire while they're pretty much on the same level as Ferrari during testing.
I'm not sure what to make of Mercedes because while they've been a bit off the pace, they've got these major upgrades for Bahrain.Schumi will win races because he wouldn't have come out of retirement if it was going to be any different and for this reason I think he will win the title while Rosberg will want to prove himself.

Would have to go for a Ferrari victory this season and think that Alonso starts the season as the man to beat.
Would thus also go for Ferrari to win the constructors title followed by Red Bull who will impress again.
Elsewhere I think The Hulk might surprise a few people and get at least a couple of podium finishes in his first year, if not a race win.

I think this year is going to be another quality season with hopefully the last race deciding the season. I think its definitely out of McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes. Im surprised everybody is over looking Mark Webber he is an amazing driver who will be spurred on to try and beat his young co-driver.
But it really is to hard to tell who will win, the same goes for the Constructors as well with all teams going to challenge for it.
For the title it will be out of: Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Vetel with Mark Webber i believe a serious possibility.
Constructors: just don't no could be any of those four.
I think a surprise further back in the field with either Hulkenberg or Sutil scoring lots of points.Posted 2 years ago # -

Could well be Vettel SingF1Fan, but think Crocky's 1-2-3 may just be right on the mark!

It just seems so unclear at this point. All we can do is guess. I mean Vettel was beating everyones butt until his car gave up. So one could argue Vettel is the best driver but what about the car.
Back in the Kimi days at Mclaren the MP4's were the fastest cars on the grid but they couldn't last the race. It takes a great team not just a great driver.
I think Alonso is a safe bet as the F10 has shown reliability during winter testing and dominated at Bahrain. However had Lewis not made a mistake on lap 1 and gotten stuck behind Nico he may have been up there to challenge the Ferraris.
And where the hell was Button? No I don't count him in the mix as last years championship was more to do with BGP making clever rules interpretation on the diffuser than Button driving a mediocre to victory. But I expected more than that from him.
So, though I hate being non committal, I'm just jumping into the conversation and saying it's between Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel and Massa.

Why, the driver with the most points of course!
No, seriously, my hot tip for the title is Alonso - but you'd be a fool to rule out Massa as well. He's been at Ferrari a good while now and will know the ropes better than Alonso.
I think you can forget the prophesised Hamilton/Button battle - McLaren won't deliver this season. Red Bull - very strong prospects if they can maintain consistency.
On a personal note I'd love to see Renault back in there and mixing it with the best of them. Kubica is a very strong driver, and of course Petrov is as yet a force untold, but it would bring a smile to my face to see them pull something back and redeem themselves from the whole sorry Crashgate saga.
We shall see!!
