Weight Publishing

I've heard that the fuel weights will not be published post qualifying/pre race this year...... is this something to do with the technicalities of seeing which car is most fuel efficient? Could bode for some interesting results if it was published, just to see how fuel hungry that Merc engine from last year is, for the amount of power it was putting out.

I'd not heard that they won't be publishing the post qualifying fuel weights. That certainly will throw a few cats amoung the pigeons. None of us will know whats what & it might make a few of the bigger teams go light initially in fear of not qualifying at the front.
The more i hear about this 2010 season the more excited i'm getting. Could be a classic year.

there is no reason to post weights this year
im sure all the cars will start with almost identical fuel loads

Well, no not really, you can start with less fuel if you're engine manages the fuel better. MPG's could turn into LPG's (laps per gallon)
