React to the Action - Malaysian Grand Prix

After suffering from reliability issues in the last two Grand Prix, it was third time lucky for Sebastian Vettel. Vettel and Luscious Liz led home a Red Bull 1-2 to cap off a fantastic weekend for Christian Horner's team.
Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil put in brilliant drives and of course not forgetting Lewis Hamilton. Let's not forget Virgin Racing's first ever finish in F1.
How impressed were you with the Red Bulls this weekend?
Who was your driver of the day?
What has gone wrong for Ferrari after their 1-2 in Bahrain?Posted 2 years ago # -
The Red Bulls made a mockery of the pre-season build up that had this a four-way fight for the championship.
They should have had three victories so far and are completely on another level from the other teams. Looking ominous for everyone.
Driver of the day? Jamie Alguersuari. He was ridiculed last year for not being good enough but he was superb yesterday. Great overtaking, beat his team-mate and picked up his first ever points. You can't ask for more from him.
I don't think much has gone wrong with Ferrari. Remember Alonso would have finished second had Massa not held him up in Australia and they both did a great job working their way through the field yesterday.

I don't think the Red Bull's are making a mockery of the championship. They hid their pace in pre-season and worked on long runs and reliability, which only now seems fixed. If they win the next 5 races, for example, then it look seriously like a drubbing in on the way.
Ferrari themselves admit they have reliabililty issues too. Both their engines were running too hot in Bahrain and if they had been seriously pushed then they might not have made the finish. Alonso had a downshift problem all the way through yesterday and when he opened up to push Button (no pun intended), pop went the engine.
I'd go with Jaime Alguersuari too for Driver of the Day. Looked motivated and in tune with the car for once and did exactly what a small team like Torro Rosso expect; points on the board.

Red Bulls were very impressive and definitely look like the team to beat. As for Ferrari, wouldn't be too worried. Think they are still well placed to make a major impact this year.
Agree that you can't look further than JA for driver of the weekend, but think The Hulk also deserves a mention for also picking up his first points!

I really wasn't impressed, since the first race I see they had a good car.
Who was your driver of the day?
Well, Lewis Hamilton really was very good in Malaysia, he was always attacking, I like his style.

I don't think there's something wrong with Ferrari (not including Alonso's engine haha), Massa is leading the championship, what we could say more? they haven't the best car, but they are strong anyways, they will fight till the end to the championship.
