Who's your money on?

Silverstone will mark half-way in the Championship, and, realistically, it could be any one of five drivers who win the title.
The Red Bulls should be so far ahead everyone is fighting for third, but one issue after another has given us this fantastic scrap that could go down as the greatest of all time.
For what it's worth my money is on Hamilton. Vettel always seems to find trouble when he's in good positions and with the McLaren and Ferrari improving every week he'll have his hands full.
Both Hamilton and Button are impressing, but Hamilton seems to have the edge at the moment and I can't see Button overtaking him. Webber has gone off the boil lately, ever since his collision with Vettel.
As for Alonso I think he has too much to do and gets wound up way too easily. His new car is a good one - he will win some races - but I can't see the title going to Maranello.
Who are you backing?

Agree, is hard to look past Hamilton given the battling qualities he has shown time and time again this season, in addition to some top quality driving.
The results of the last 3 races show that Lewis has one over Jenson right now and I'm not sure that Button will be able to turn that around.
Think Hamilton's biggest challenge will come from the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel, but can the German put together a consistent run of high point scoring finishes? I'm not too sure...

Hamilton is the favourite in my eyes. His skill set is the best out of the possible five challengers and I can't see any major weaknesses in his style either, only the suitability of the McLaren on certain circuits.
Alonso puts himself under too much pressure, and that has resulted in several high profile mistakes so far. Webber and Button seem to go well when their car is performing in a very narrow performance margin, but how many times a season can you manage perfection? And Vettel can't overtake for toffee, and is fast developing a reputation for being a car-breaker too with the retirements he's suffered.
Hamilton? His only weakness in my eyes is that he's not sat in a Red Bull!
