Formula 1 Constructor Standings

In Formula 1 the Constructors’ Championship is just as fiercely fought for as the Drivers’ Championship and in the 2010 F1 season it will be no different. In F1 team success is down to much more than the driver himself and this is recognised by the Constructors’ Championship. Victory in the prestigious F1 Constructors’ Championship is a real achievement for everyone in an F1 team, from the driver to the technicians, to the pit crew and even the analysts behind the scenes. Each Formula 1 team will keep a keen eye on the 2010 Constructors Standings, and whilst the winning driver is often in the winning team, this is not always the case.

In Formula 1 history Ferrari are the most successful F1 team, with the Italian based outfit winning the F1 Constructors’ Championship a record 16 times. There will be a new winner in 2010 after 2009 Constructors’ Champions Brawn GP exited the sport at the end of the season, but the team that has replaced them Ross Brawn’s Mercedes GP will be confident of victory in 2010. Ferrari will once again be competitive, whilst McLaren and Red Bull will also fancy their chances of lifting the 2010 Constructors’ Championship. At the other end of the standings, new Formula 1 teams Hispania, Lotus and Virgin Racing will all be hoping for a good showing in 2010.
