And so the 2011 Formula 1 season moves one race closer to the end after the first Indian Grand Prix, and still no one has come up with a way of answering Sebastian Vettel’s dominance. Vettel was supreme in the inaugural Indian race: untouchable as he strolled towards his 11^th win of the season, setting a new record for most laps led in a single season in the process – a sure sign of his utter dominance.

One man who had been expected to challenge Vettel this season was Lewis Hamilton, but yet again for what feels like the hundredth time this season the 2008 champion found himself down the grid and scrapping it out with Felipe Massa – with inevitable consequences.

Vettel ‘will help team-mate finish second’

Sebastian Vettel has revealed that he will help Mark Webber finish 2nd in this year’s driver standings.

The Australian is currently 13 points behind Jenson Button and both Vettel and Christian Horner have labelled his success as a significant priorty for Red Bull in the final few races.
