Only a few hours away now from the testing session in Bahrain for the opening race of the Formula 1 2010 World Championship. Who will win the battles of Hamilton vs Schumacher? The final Formula 1 Grand Prix of the 2009 F1 season at the awesome new track in Abu Dhabi was a great race for Red Bull, as they winded up the 2009 F1 season with their third win in a row. Jenson Button finished on the podium, with Mark Webber in 2nd and Vettel in a well deserved first place.
The 2009 Brazilian Grand Prix was a great race from Interlagos, when Jenson Button eventually brought home the F1 title for us Brits! Congratulations to Brawn GP and Ross Brawn! There were also awesome drives by Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel for Red Bull, Lewis Hamilton for Mclaren and Robert Kubica for BMW.
A great race for Sebastian Vettel and a dull one for the rest of us! Jarno Trulli took second place and Lewis Hamilton brought home third. A safety car bunched the pack up making the last few laps more interesting, with Kubica chasing Button’s tail. Will the championship be resolved at Brazil?
Not a particularly inspiring start to this race, but it hotted up as it got closer to the end. Hamilton took first position, with Timo Glock in second and Fernando Alonso in third after a horrible week for the Renault team. Jenson Button edges closer to the championship after he takes more points than Rubens Barrichello, and Mark Webber is out of the title race after retiring from the Singapore Grand Prix with break failures. Everything keeps on changing in the world of F1! A win for Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari and a 2nd place for VJ Malia’s Force India with Giancarlo Fisichella at the wheel. 3rd place for Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull and a disappointing day for the two Brit drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button after being taken out on the first lap. Fernando Alonso, Alguersuari, Jarno Trulli and Grosjean also retire.
