10. Hungary 2009
The Hungaroring is arguably Hamilton’s best circuit on the calendar – this was his first of what is now four wins in seven seasons, and it was utter domination. He took pole after some underhand tricks by team-mate Fernando Alonso saw the Spaniard relegated to sixth on the grid – and he seized the opportunity, becoming the first driver to lead every lap of a race in 2007.
Hamilton’s ability to perform to these high standards even in the adverse conditions his team were in at the time was incredibly impressive – and it was especially flustering Alonso, who he now led the championship from by seven points.
