Latest twist in Hamilton and Massa row revealed
It has been the biggest talking point of the Singapore Grand Prix and it shows no sign of going away just yet – the fall out between Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa.
Is this footage of where the Massa v Hamilton feud began?
As we have heard on a number of occasions, Massa wasn’t happy with Hamilton’s driving in Singapore and even interuppted the McLaren man’s post race interviews to make his feelings known.
It has now been revealed though that Massa was told by his team to ‘destroy’ Hamilton during the race.
An radio message from race engineer Rob Smedley to Massa said: “Hold Hamilton as much as we can. Destroy his race as much as we can. Come on boy.”
This could perhaps explain further why the two collided and perhaps indicates that it wasn’t all Hamilton’s doing as Massa suggested after the race.
