Vettel secures Italian Grand Prix pole

Sebastian Vettel produced a remarkable qualifying performance to secure pole position for the 2011 Italian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver finished half a second ahead of Lewis Hamilon at Monza, despite problems with traffic during Q3.
Jenson Button was third, followed by Fernando Alonso in fourth and Vettel’s team-mate Mark Webber in fifth.
Ferrari’s Felipe Massa was in sixth, followed by Vitaly Petrov and Michael Schumacher.
Nico Rosberg and Bruno Senna – who pipped Paul Di Resta to 10th fastest in Q2 and did not set a time in Q3 – completed the top ten.
All eyes were on Vettel yet again though as he secured his 10th pole position of the season.
Once again, he is the man to beat tomorrow.
