Hamilton discusses Ferrari move

Lewis Hamilton has been discussing the possibility of driving for Ferrari in the future.
The McLaren driver made it clear that he is more than happy where he is for now, but hinted that he would be interested in a move further down the line.
On making the switch, he said: “At the moment I don’t have any plans to do so, it is not something I desire or feel that I have to do.”
“But we are talking about a fantastic team and you never know what could happen in the future.”
Hamilton has worked with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso before of course and he revealed how he felt he gained a lot from having the Spaniard as his McLaren team-mate.
The 2008 World Champion continued: “Alonso is a very, very fast driver, incredibly fast, with extraordinary talent and incredible speed. You know that he will always give his best. I learned a lot with him as a driver, I improved my driving thanks to having him as a team-mate.”
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has admitted in the past that he would like to sign Hamilton and with Felipe Massa’s contract expiring at the end of 2012, perhaps this will be up for discussion again.
For now though, McLaren are in good shape having won the last two Grand Prix and Hamilton is currently enjoying a three week break from racing, with the next Grand Prix in Belgium at he end of the month.
