Mark Webber: I’ll come back stronger

Red Bull racer Mark Webber believes he will return to the Formula One circuit next term bigger and better after his final event failure at Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The Australian was within touching distance of landing the drivers' championship in the United Arab Emirates, but after finishing in a disappointing eighth position, the veteran ended the campaign in third spot behind team-mate Sebastian Vettel, who claimed his first title with victory in the finale, and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso.
Despite his near-miss, he is sure he will return at the top of his game following a well-earned break from the sport.
"I'm still feeling bitterly disappointed about what happened in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, I aimed for the biggest target in motorsport and it didn't work out," he said.
"I'm reminded of that great adage, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well, I'm still alive and I'm sure I'll bounce back from this season a better driver.
"Right now, though, I need a good break. The gas has been wide open since the third week in January and it's been a long season. There's been a lot of travel and a lot of effort. It's time for some time out.
"We've had our ups and downs, but we've pushed each other and it's always rewarding to get out of bed to do that.
"It's amazing to think that the only time he led the championship was after the last race, but that's the only time it matters."
