Fernando Alonso leads the way at rain-soaked Spa

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was the master in the rain at Spa, as he topped the timesheets in both of the opening two practice sessions for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Spaniard Alonso was nearly eight tenths of a second faster than nearest rival Lewis Hamilton of McLaren in the first session, before edging out Force India's Adrian Sutil on the second session.
Alonso told the official Formula One website: "The impression one gets on Friday does not always get confirmed on Saturday and Sunday, therefore we have to evaluate today's results with a lot of care.
"Having said that, it has definitely been a positive day because the car seemed to respond well to all track conditions that we encountered.
"I think the weather will play a key part, both tomorrow and on Sunday – anything could happen."
Alonso goes into the weekend in fifth place in the race for the drivers' title, 20 point adrift of Red Bull's Mark Webber.
