Horner hopes to cool Red Bull row

Red Bull supremo Christian Horner is hopeful that talks with British Grand Prix winner Mark Webber can calm the simmering tensions at the team.

Webber is unhappy as he perceives that he is being treated as a number two to Sebastian Vettel, with Horner hoping to put the Australian's mind at ease after his victory at Silverstone.

"Of course we will talk about it and if the air needs to be cleared it will be cleared," Horner admitted.

"Mark has been with us when we were battling for 10th and 11th places.

"He knows how hard the team has worked as a group to get ourselves into a position to be running at the front and winning Grands Prix.

"I don't think either driver needs motivation, but when you have two drivers competing for the world championship, there can be tension between the two of them.

"We don't hide that fact."

It’s lucky Vettel didn’t blow up his engine or Little Jack Horner would have given him Webbers and Webber would have got the 5 place grid drop penalty for an engine change. Mark, forget the discussions just give him a Glasgow kiss.
