Sebastian Vettel on pole in Hungary

Red Bull dominated in qualifying yet again, with Sebastian Vettel securing pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix and team-mate Mark Webber alongside him on the front row.
Vettel was more than four tenths of a second faster than his Australian colleague, while Webber was more than eight tenths of a second quicker than the rest of the field.
The second row is an all-Ferrari affair, with Fernando Alonso third and Felipa Massa fourth fastest.

With just a week separating the German and Hungarian grand prix, there can be no better time for a team to have lept to the front of the field. Even though it might have been overshadowed, the fact is that Ferrari walked the Hockenheim race – and with very little time for rivals to catch up, expectations in the camp will be just as sky high as the controversy created …
Following a distinctly mediocre race in Germany, Red Bull Racing will be hoping to bounce back and challenge the Ferrari’s as the Formula One band-wagon rolls into Hungary.
The Hungarian Grand Prix is rarely a thrilling spectacle, so Mercedes will feel right at home in their less-than-spectacular season.

It’s one of the shortest turn arounds on the Formula One calendar, as teams have less than a week to move on to Hungary, but this will favour Virgin Racing as sooner the next Grand Prix comes, the better.
Round 12 of the Formula 1 season is at Hungary this weekend. After Hungary there are only two more races in Europe before the season is concluded in South America and Asia as the season is running out quickly.
