head to lying in 6th place in the Constructors’ Championship 16 points ahead of seventh placed team .

has made a decent start to this season despite not finishing in the points on three occasions. His team-mate has faded after scoring points in the first two Grands Prix of the season.

Monaco will provide a different challenge for all the drivers and we could be in for an intriguing weekend at the Principality. With wet weather predicted throughout the whole weekend anything could happen.

The Monaco Grand Prix will see Tonio making his 50th race start and I’m sure he will want to mark that with a points finish. The Italian’s best result at Monaco was 10th with in 2006.

It’s fair to say Liuzzi has been disappointing in the last three Grands Prix but every driver goes through this phase at some time in their career. Fingers crossed he can bounce back this weekend and get his season back on track.

Liuzzi’s team-mate Adrian has had his moments in the Principality and even managed to go quickest in Saturday morning practice in 2007 with the then Spyker team. In 2008, the German looked set to finish 4th until lost control of his Ferrari in the harbour chicane.

Team Principle told the Force India website that the camp is a very happy one and is feeling confident that the team can have a positive weekend.

“Adrian certainly feels good. I’ve never in the last three years seen Adrian be so happy and excited, and have such confidence. Tonio also takes confidence there knowing he has had some good results and has a good car underneath him. We’re very optimistic.”

“I think in Monaco, as always, everything is possible. You never know what will happen. The race is long, and a lot of mistakes can be made.

“You just need to stay concentrated and focused all the way through, and then you can have a good result. That’s our main goal. I think for us every circuit – it doesn’t matter where – we want to score points. And that’s what I want.”

What are my hopes for Force India this weekend? I’m hoping both Sutil and Liuzzi can finish in the points. I think Liuzzi needs the points more than Sutil as he has gone three races without scoring.

I know it is easy for me to knock Liuzzi but he does need to improve his qualifying because last time round in Spain, he could have so easily have gone out in Q1 yet again. I just hope he can finish in the points to cap of his 50th start in Formula One.

As for Adrian, he needs to build on his 7th place finish in Spain and keep the momentum going. I’m sure he and Liuzzi will want to avoid being in the midfield scraps otherwise the race on Sunday could be a long one for both drivers.
