In the end it was the perfect Chinese Takeaway for McLaren as Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton came home in 1st and 2nd to secure the team’s first 1-2 of the 2010 season.

In an entertaining race, Button’s tactics paid off yet again as he took the chequered flag for the second time to the lead the Driver’s Championship by 10 points from Nico Rosberg. Lewis Hamilton also put in a scintillating performance to finish just behind his team-mate.

Renault were the other team to shine at the Chinese Grand Prix with Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov finishing 5th and 7th respectively. Petrov scored his first ever points in Formula 1 and will be looking to build on that for the rest of the season.
