Vitantonio Liuzzi will be heading to Australia the happier of the two Force India drivers after his decent showing in Bahrain.

Liuzzi finished a respectable 9th ahead of his teammate Adrian Sutil who ended up in 12th.

The Italian can take confidence from his performance at Bahrain and will be hoping to build on that this weekend at Albert Park.

Although Sutil managed to out-qualify his colleague and qualify in the Top 10, his race was literally ruined on the first lap when he collided with Robert Kubica.

The German will be pleased that he managed to get into Q3 but now he needs to convert his decent qualifying performances into a good race result.

This is something I have said time and time again about Sutil and I will re-iterate it again. He needs to cut out his mistakes because he is making them too often and you cannot do that at this level.

There is no question, Sutil has the potential to be a fantastic driver and we have already seen what he is capable of.

After a disappointing opening race, Adrian needs to step up to the plate starting this weekend. I’m sure he does not want to be playing second fiddle to Liuzzi this season.

I am really looking forward to the Australian Grand Prix and hopefully it will be an entertaining one. With Ferrari seemingly the team to beat, will the likes of McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull give them something to think about? Will there be any shocks? Come the end of the race on Sunday we will find out.

Looking at the weekend from a Force India perspective, it will be interesting to see if Sutil can bounce back and whether Liuzzi can finish in the points yet again.

Personally I think a few eyebrows will be raised within the team if Liuzzi manages to finish in front of Sutil again. Adrian was expected to have the upper hand over Tonio but that has not panned out.

Sutil will definitely find himself on the back foot if his Italian teammate has another positive result and finishes in front of him.

There is still a long way to go and anything can happen!
