First F1 Race: 2010 (debut season)

German driver Nico Hülkenberg will very much be the rookie of the Williams F1 team in 2010 where he will line up alongside Formula 1 stalwart Rubens Barrichello. The 22 year old has some impressive racing pedigree behind him, as in 2009 he became only the second driver after Lewis Hamilton to win the GP2 series in his maiden season. The German rookie nicknamed ‘The Hulk’ has already been indentified as a prodigious talent and comparisons have been drawn between Hülkenberg and Michael Schumacher. F1 will be the 22 year old’s toughest test yet, but given his previous success in Formula BMW, the A1 GP, Formula 3 and GP2, much is expected of the youngster in his debut F1 season.
