Rookie Sebastien Buemi heads into his 2nd season in Formula 1 looking to build on the promising start he made to his F1 career in 2009. The 21 year old from Switzerland spent his youth in karting, before moving on to Formula BMW and in turn Formula 3. Prior to his spell in GP2 Buemi also gained some racing experience in the A1 Grand Prix series, helping Switzerland finish 8th in the 2006/07 season. In 2007 Buemi started testing for Red Bull and signed for sister team Toro Rosso at the start of the 2009 F1 season. Incredibly Buemi scored 2 points in his very first race and added to 3 more finishes in the points, made 2009 a promising start for the Swiss man.
