Trulli forms the more experienced half of the new Lotus F1 team this season alongside Heikki Kovalainen as the Italian driver continues his solid Formula 1 career. 35 year old Trulli has plenty of F1 experience under his belt, having driven for Minardi, Prost, Jordan, Renault and Toyota. The Italian’s move to Lotus in the close season brought an end to a spell of over 5 years at Toyota in which Trulli regularly featured in the points and earned pole position at the 2009 Bahrain Grand Prix. The highlight of Trulli’s F1 career has to be his 2004 Monaco Grand Prix win with Renault where he led from start to finish to help him finish 6th in the end of season standings.
